We’re getting ready to head off to North Myrtle Beach the middle of this week. We’ll stay through Easter weekend and return early next week. It’s an awesome time to be spending time along the coast and it’s my favorite time of the year.

There’s a lot to be said for attending an Easter Sunday sunrise service at the oceanfront. If you’re able to attend, by all means, try to get yourself there. It’s a spiritual experience you won’t forget anytime soon. Following are some of the services I know about but there are probably others as well.

The Grand Strand Baptist Church has planned an Easter Sunday Sunrise Service at 6:45 a.m. at the 2nd Avenue Pier in Myrtle Beach. The main Easter service will be held at 11 a.m. at the church. Sunday school will be held at 9:30 a.m. For more info call (843) 236-2233.

Myrtle Beach Travel Park at 10108 Kings Road, Myrtle Beach, offers a Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday on the beach in Myrtle Beach. Dress is casual. Call (800) 255-3568
 with questions.

Barefoot Church, 701 Main Street, North Myrtle Beach, will hold a Sunrise Baptism on Easter Sunday at the end of Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. Call (843) 280-1270 for more information.

We found some great deals on North Myrtle Beach condo rentals where we cashed in on some spring specials they were having. When I can find spacious rentals that sit oceanfront at a price I can afford, I grab it, and so should you. If you’re headed to coastal South Carolina for the holiday you have to check out the Windy Hill Dunes condo rentals where we’re staying. You'll be thanking me later!

Yeah, Pawleys Island is as nice as you’re probably picturing it to be. And the Pawleys Island beach rentals at Debordieu Colony are exceptionally luxurious properties everyone should spoil themselves with at least once a year. That’s my belief and I’m lucky enough to be able to live by it.

When we stay in the Pawleys Island beach rentals at Debordieu Colony we can take advantage of the private on-site amenities such as golf, tennis, and multiple onsite dining venues. There are miles of beach and tidal creeks, an on-site nature preserve with walking trails and bike paths, and a delightful year round climate to take advantage of and enjoy. Bring your bike if you have one and spend hours riding. Definitely bring your golf clubs and tennis rackets if you have those, too. They’ll be put to good use I can assure you. If you don’t play this would be the perfect opportunity to try your hand at either one.

This is a wonderful time of the year to come and experience a relaxing vacation in South Carolina. The beaches are quiet, un-crowded and peace-filled. It’s an ideal spot to set up a lounge chair, lay back, and read a good book. Take the opportunity to doze off if you feel the need. Nobody at all will mind. This is your time. This is your awesome beach vacation.

Myrtle Beach Bike Rally 2013
Posted February 24, 2013 by Adam Hankey in Recreation
The event many people look forward to year round here in Myrtle Beach is right around the corner! For any who have not heard of bike week, or have never been to bike week, let’s give you a small crash course about what Myrtle Beach Bike Rally 2013 is all about.

First the event will be from May 10th – 19th this year. It will play host to a total of 300,000 bikers, who come from all over the country for this week of biker heaven. With many vendors, deals, and miles of beach, it is sure to entice any road warrior to make a beeline to Myrtle Beach.

Some important things to note about coming to Myrtle Beach Bike Rally 2013, is the local laws in place. There is a noise ordinance first and foremost, so try and keep it respectful. This shouldn’t be too big an issue, as long as people stay friendly and don’t cause too much hassle. Helmets are not required after the law was contested in court, but it can’t hurt to wear one. Things happen, and a helmet can save a life! Do however realize, that a helmet is required for minors, and ignoring that could put you in trouble. Anything else you might need to know is general common sense knowledge that everyone knows.

The most important rule of all, is to have fun. All throughout the event there will be vendors, celebrations, and meet ups. Being that this event has become world famous, you better believe that it’s become something of a legend. So if you ride a bike, what is stopping you from making the trip to Myrtle Beach? With local grub at every corner, and cheap resorts to stay at, there is no reason not to be part of the rally!

If you are interested in making a Myrtle Beach vacation during this year's bike week, make sure you review all the available Myrtle Beach hotels at Myrtle Beach Resorts .
