Fabric to reopen after nightclub wins appeal against closure

Fabric has won its fight to reopen after successfully appealing the decision to revoke the nightclub’s licence. Following crunch talks, the London venue will reopen its doors – but strict rules will be enforced. Under-19s will not be allowed entry, and a CCTV operator will watch live footage to ensure no ‘criminality’ is taking place, The Islington Gazette reported. Specialist roles have been created to prevent drugs getting inside, and to help anyone showing signs of illness and anyone found with drugs faces a lifetime ban.
