Rob Fernandez, NewYork City club icon, passed away. He has always been a friend to Beachmonkey, and has shown nothing but the highest regard for me as I pestered him in my quest for stories about New York club scene and the Winter Music Conference in Miami. If i could describe him in three words, they would be “grace under pressure” – ever gracious, direct when need be, and consistently a joy to reunite with, time and time again. Our condolences to his family and friends.

His words were hard to hear sometimes, but they shot to your core, and you were a better person after hearing them. He taught me everything I know.
