Identity Festival 2012 in Cincinnati, July 19

Identity Festival is a traveling event held in cities across the USA as well as Toronto. There is no assigned seating, lots of artists and plenty of good EDM on two stages. The great thing about Cincinnati Identity is that you can bring in things that you need, such as unopened bottled water, reusable water bottles, non-professional cameras, small backpacks, lawn chairs of reasonable size, LED gloves/glowsticks, hula hoops, much of the gear necessary for a great time. No coolers, though – food and drink is provided onsite from vendors. Please consult the website for all the info on what can be brought in, and what should stay at home.

Festival coordinators also show concern for people's health beyond the usual concerns of public safety. Since Identity goes on for hours and there is no reentry once you leave the venue, this can put a burden on people with diabetes if they cannot bring the necessary paraphernalia. Identity Cincinnati recognizes the importance of this crucial health issue. If somebody needs to take an insulin shot, there are biohazard disposal sites.

Main Stage and Rock Star Energy Drink Stage will feature Eric Prydz, Nero-DJ Set, Excision, Madeon, Arty, Showtek, Bingo Players, Le Castle Vania, Eva Simons, The Eye, Jdevil, Audrey Napoleon, Rye Rye, DVBBS, Stephan Jacobs.

Riverbend Music Center, 6295 Kellogg Ave., Cincinnati OH 45230
