Who needs candy on Halloween? Indiana University-Bloomington is about to get a bag full of bananas.
On October 31, IU students are in for a real treat. Bounce Music Festival will throw another unforgettable show, just as it did last year with name artists Avicii and Tiesto. This year, Bounce will bring house sensation Dada Life and the dirty, filthy beatmaker Borgore. The event will be hosted roughly 20 minutes away from campus at Pic-A-Chic Farms. Since it is an off-campus event, buses will take students to and from the show.
Indiana University house-heads and EDM fans will go bananas, literally! Dada Life (Swedish duo Olle Corneer and Stefan Engblom) brings inflatable bananas to every show. For his part, Borgore (Israeli producer/rapper Asaf Borger) is known for his filthy raps and dirty beats. Both artists have headlined major events and both performed at the famous Electric Daisy Carnival this summer.
Bounce Music Festival has received significant recognition for its events. It was recently named one of the top 5 EDM festivals by MTV. 2012 has Bounce hosting a fall tour with stops in Arizona, New York, Tennessee, North Carolina, and of course Indiana. Some of the headliners for the other four locations include Alesso, Rusko, Martin Solveig, and Hardwell. With such consistently good line-ups, Bounce deserves the props.
After attending my first Bounce show (Tiesto) last year at IU, I know this year’s show will be epic. IU club kids can’t wait for Dada Life’s famous song “Kick Out the Epic Motherf**ker.” Don’t miss this show.
