This year's edition of the Krakow, Poland-based electronic festival Unsound takes place October 13-20. The overarching theme of this year's festival is Interference, and the lineup is set to feature Andy Stott & Demdike Stare, Forest Swords, Julianna Barwick (with a Polish girls' choir), Charlemagne Palestine & Rhys Chatham, Pharmakon, Jenny Hval, Laurel Halo, Earth, Stara Rzeka, Nate Young, Pete Swanson, Keith Fullerton Whitman, Altar of Plagues, Arca, Dean Blunt, Mykki Blanco, and James Ferraro, among many others.
Today, Unsound has announced an official ban on all photography and filming throughout the festival. As noted by the Unsound website, the rule won't necessarily be strictly enforced, but the organizers hope it will be upheld by festivalgoers.
